Mummies: the Biomedical Approaches

Since the year of 2002, I have been involved in bioanthropological studies, extending my research interest into paleopathology. By studies on mummies and bones from archaeological fields using various biomedical techniques, we can elucidate the information on health or disease status of pre-modern peoples.
